A reduced RCS (radar cross section) and optimised wheelhouse arrangement with wide visibility ensure the MK II is ready for all coastal patrol and surveillance, mine detection, helicopter operations, maritime interdiction, and friendly forces support operations. The platform also carries multidimensional anti-air and anti-surface capabilities.

COMBAT OPERATIONS

The vessel integrates a combat management system that provides control over all major onboard weapons systems for a state-of-the-art threat evaluation and weapon assignment (TEWA) capability. The result is a vessel ready to perform all ship combat missions at a platform or force level.

The vessel features a steel-constructed hull and deck, with an aluminium superstructure designed to minimise radar cross section. Four diesel engines and four Kongsberg waterjets provide propulsion to support missions for up to 15 days, with a top speed of 30 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots.
