The GL-307 Sound and Flash Grenade was designed to produce a noisy blast effect and a hard blind flash for riot control. In addition to the loud sound and blinding flash, the GL-307 produces a significant overpressure that adds to the disorientation. Its rubber body prevents harmful fragmentation.
