The NT-400 Warning Cartridge – 37/40 mm can serve as a warning signal by military and police forces at checkpoints when the munition is fired above vehicles, or it can create a distraction/disorienting effect for riot control. The four aerial detonations produce a bright flash and loud report. The dual rim ensures compatibility with 37/38 mm riot guns and 40 mm grenade launchers.
